CHECKOUT PROCEDURE

Checkout time is 10:00 AM. Please be prompt.

A great deal of work must be done to prepare a cabin for guest arrival, and a delay
in your departure may result in the cabin not being ready by 3:00 PM for the next guests.
Like you, they are excited and want to be in their cabin on time.

These cabins are privately owned and well loved. We do not expect you to clean the cabin before you leave, but please do leave it as neat and undamaged as you would hope someone would leave yours.

  • Please place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it prior to leaving the cabin. This may take you more than 1 load if they were not done throughout your stay.(Dish soap is provided - Glass coffee carafe & filter basket and glass or plastic blender cup may be washed in dishwasher)


  • Pull comforter/quilt back on all beds that have been used so we are aware that the linens need to be serviced.


  • If you use a sleeper sofa/futon, please strip the bedding before folding it up and place the linens in the laundry area. (Please return sleeper or futon to normal sitting position.)


  • Place all used towels, washcloths and kitchen linens (including pot holders) in the bathtub on the laundry room level. (No wet towels on the wood floors, please.)


  • Please return all game and puzzle pieces to their proper boxes and return them to their proper location.


  • Please remove all personal food items from the refrigerator, freezer and cabinets. (These items must be thrown away if left behind.)


  • Please make certain that your GARBAGE IS WRAPPED AND SECURED TIGHTLY IN GARBAGE BAGS AND PLACED IN THE GARBAGE BINS PROVIDED OUTSIDE WITH THE LID SECURELY FASTENED. (The garbage service will not pick up if there is loose garbage in the cans. Failure to follow these instructions, including the placement of loose garbage into the containers, will result in an additional cleaning fee.)


  • If you used the grill, please ensure that it, along with all utensils, has been left clean, the propane bottle for the gas grill is turned off and the cover is on.


  • If you used the hot tub, please make sure the cover is replaced tightly. Please lock clips (if provided) – mountain winds will blow it off and cause damage.


  • If you used a wood burning fireplace, please make sure that all ashes have been taken out to the metal ash can provided. (No ashes or unburned wood in the plastic cans please - even if you think that they are cool.)


  • The owners prefer that their items not be moved. If you must move an art object or piece of furniture, please return it to its proper location before leaving the cabin.

  • Turn thermostat for heater to 60 degrees in the winter months or the AC up to 85 degrees during summer months.


  • Turn off all lights, ceiling fans, TV’s etc…


  • Please lock all doors and windows. (Please do not leave our owner's items vulnerable to theft by leaving the cabin unsecured.)


  • It is very likely that guests will be checking in on the same day leave. To reduce confusion, please make sure that you all of your persoanl items before locking the door.

  • Leave key on the kitchen counter, pull the locked door shut behind you and have a safe trip home.
